Frequently Asked Questions

For questions that are not listed in this page, please contact the conference secretariat at rpcsec@nie.edu.sg.

Registration is only confirmed after payment is made. All participants will need to sign up for a user account to make payment for the conference (https://conference.nie.edu.sg/2020/user/register-form.php).

When you are creating the account, please ensure that you have selected the option "Attend conference" on the registration form.

Submit Abstract
  • There are no admin fees applied to submit an abstract.
Attend conference
  • For presenters: Once your abstract has been accepted, please select this option if you wish to attend the conference.
  • For participants: Please select this option if you would like to attend the conference.
Registration Confirmation
  • Registration will only be confirmed after payment is made.

If you did not see the payment option on your user dashboard. It is likely that you did not indicate the “Attend conference” option when you registerfor the user account.Please follow the steps belowto troubleshoot.

  • Select "My account > Edit Profile" at the left-hand side navigator on your user dashboard
  • Select the option "Attend conference" and submit the updated form.
  • Log out from the user account. You will be able to see the payment option when you login again.

The conference committee has made arrangements with NIE Finance to deduct the conference fees directly from the project funds, so pre-payment is not required for participants under SDL.

Based on the SDL application workflow, as there is a change in the dates of the conference, staff will be required to cancel your SDL application and re-apply on a later date.

After you register for a user account, the conference committee will review your student status. Once your student status is verified, you will receive a student rate confirmation letter from the conference secretariat (rpcsec@nie.edu.sg). The payment instructions can also be found in the confirmation letter.

Your entitlement will not be affected by the postponement. The confirmation letter that indicates your sponsorship or student rate entitlement will apply for RPIC 2021.
