Marc H. Bornstein holds a B.A. from Columbia College, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University and honorary doctorates from the Universities of Padua and Trento. Bornstein is past President of the SRCD and held faculty positions at Princeton and New York Universities as well as academic appointments in Munich, London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Bamenda, Seoul, Trento, Santiago, Bristol, Oxford, and London. Bornstein is Editor Emeritus of Child Development and founding Editor of Parenting. He consults for governments, foundations, universities, journals, publishers, media, and UNICEF. Bornstein has published in the areas of experimental, comparative, developmental, and cultural science as well as in neuroscience, pediatrics, and aesthetics.
